Tis that time of year again ... People running around last minute like headless chickens trying to find that perfect gift. Crowds hoarding round the high streets not having a clue where to start or what to buy. Christmas shopping can actually be stressful.
Generally, I have three rules about gift buying; Get something they'll use/wear a lot, something of sentimental value or something that's not too over priced or over budget. The only time I'd consider spending money is when buying an item that will get used/worn a lot as it should have longevity. If you can't afford anything premium, there are plenty of other useful gift ideas that don't come with a huge price tag (especially things people don't think about buying themselves but really appreciate).
