Girl Crush: It's all about Luptia Nyong'o

Ah .. And so a new girl crush begins. What's
not to love about Luptia Nyongo? Forget the Oscar and Golden Globe wins, she has also won the award season fashion crown as well.
It's not just her inner confidence and grace
that pulls off those bold vibrant red carpet ensembles, this woman really knows
what looks good on her and what accentuates her best assets.

dress she wore at the Oscars was a classic example, making her stand out from
her peers. With its exquisite Grecian silhouette, pleated full skirt and plunging neckline, Luptia made sure all eyes were on her. Not many people would get away with wearing
such a low cut dress so elegantly (especially the fuller chested) but she did. I love the fact that she liked the colour
because it reminded her of Nairobi, referencing her home
town in Kenya. This custom made gown was stunning on her and she really
was the belle of the ball.

And then there's all her other red carpet successes. Her style is elegant but brave and though she is always so well turned out, she likes to have fun with fashion, experimenting with different shapes, textures and fabrics, not to mention colour. My favourite would have to be the tweed style indigo and white Michael Kors dress, with an abs-baring cut-away panel. It’s current, it’s fun, it’s bold, and it shows off her petite athletic body. I know it got mixed reviews but I absolutely love it on her.
The thing about Luptia is that she is effortlessly stunning and a natural beauty.She doesn't need loads of make-up, weaves or hair extensions and has even admitted to having a ‘low maintenance beauty regime'.Its women like her that make me a little bit sick with jealously but equally incredibly proud. LOVE HER.
